Villa Halcyon offers 4 wonderful locations for dining, each with its own charms to suit your mood:
- The main dining area: leads off Cucina Virginia on the Southern wing of the main house. It is open on three sides and enjoys commanding 180% views of Puerto Galera Bay, officially designated by Les Plus Belles Baies du Monde in Paris as one of the most beautiful bays in the world ! Cantilevered over a 45% hillside, the table is in very close proximity to nature—enjoy the treetops and the occasional cameo appearances of our local wildlife.
- Al Fresco: also leads off Cucina Virginia, to the herb and flower garden. The large, tiled table can accommodate up to 16 guests, is caressed by the fresh breeze off the bay and is fragranced by the lovely flowers of the hanging Mexican vines and orchids. Cascades on the back wall freshen the koi and tilapia ponds with the soothing sound of gently falling water.
- The Pier: if you happen to be fortunate and the full moon rises in the East, this is an exceptional experience at night ! The silver reflections on the shimmering sea as you sit 100 meters from shore provide a most romantic setting ! A sunken, glass-topped table enables up to 8 diners to view the coral garden with underwater lighting attracting the marine nightlife and at high tide your feet are in the warm water !
- Poolside: under the watchful gaze of a large bronze Buddha imported from Bali, with soft cascades over green/grey slate in the background, dine under the stars and allow the soft, warm sea breeze to soothe your troubles away. The aquamarine and its wood decking surrounds provide a perfect venue for a beach party. Unforgettable !
